Knockback Apology In the Night

Knockbacks In Toronto Part Deux

I wanted to thank Ian for coming over last night with a bottle of wine! Mrs. Jorge and I enjoyed the company of the Haligonian, and we conferenced The Shellie on the phone to make the triumverate complete. Talk about your crazy parties!

It’s always great to make new friends, especially when they are as nice as Ian. We enjoyed cedar-plank barbecued salmon, some grilled veggies, and some fine beers and wine. For dessert we had cholocate chip, walnut/brown sugar encrusted banana bread.

A great time was had by all.

Hai-Kuul Apology

I want to apologize if I don’t get any Hai-Kuuls out today. I don’t usually like writing them at work, so I write them at home the night before and e-mail them in so the format conforms to the style that I like.

I worked on a whole whack of them last night and e-mailed them to work so I could post them, but I don’t see them in my inbox. I’ll be right pissed if they went the way of the dodo, to be sure.

Stay tuned!

Sometime Quietly During Tuesday Night…

My blog slipped into the 10000+ region. Thanks to all of you for your support. While I am not normally a stats whore, this information made me a bit giddy yesterday.

  1. I see were not turning this into a recipe blog, darn you, he he he he!!!! Glad you had a great night, it was super fun to call in, way better than calling into a radio show 🙂

  2. He told me last night he was eager to add recipes in haiku form, at least thrice a day. Jorge is good that way!

  3. Don’t even start, Ian. I won’t share the antidote to the poisoned banana bread….

  4. Congrats on reaching 10,000 big boy!

  5. Giddy indeed. Congrats. Jorge on reachin’ another plateau? MM
