Nature’s Berries

Kiddo and I play the Disney Edition of Trivial Pursuit from time to time, which involves us asking each other questions from different decks (I ask her the questions from “younger kids” deck, and she asks me questions from the “older kids” deck). Of course, game-play involves a fair amount of witty repartee (or trash talk, if you like). The other day we had an exchange that made us laugh so hard it felt worthy of a retelling. MM9 – 24 Hour Movie Marathon – 2014 – Bloopers

MM91

Another 24-Hour Movie Marathon has come and gone. This year was just as much fun as last. As usual, our fan films are a lot of fun to make – but they are not without some comical errors. Check out some of our tribute film bloopers!

You Don’t Bring Me Flowers Anymore

Flowers

And I Don’t Blame You

I mean, I’m barely ever here!

So, I opened the door to the editing room of this blog and had to blow dust off of the desk before I sat down to write. Keeping Toronto Thumbs running is a bittersweet task. On one hand, I get to write about all kinds of cool stuff; but at the same time, it takes me away from writing articles here (and for other places, as well). 2013 was a fairly eventful year, full of family goodness, friends and all around good times. Little J: Daddy, I think having more than one pet is too many pets.
Me: Really?
Little J: Yeah. It’s too much work. But, if you wanted to have more than one pet, you can take a magic pill that turns you into an octopus. Then you would have enough arms to take care of them.

That’s my kiddo.

Cracked Berry

You Know It Has Been A Long Day When…

You are sitting on the bus on your way home from work (reading e-mails on your BlackBerry), when you suddenly reach for your holster to discover that your BlackBerry is not there! So, what do you do? You start typing a BlackBerry Messenger note to your boss letting him know that you think you might have lost your…oh wait…how am I typing this again?

Hold Your Applause

Armed and Dangerous

Sometimes I wonder if I’m going to be spending the afterlife in a very warm place.

Observe: a friend tweeted this…

I replied with this…

Anyone have an extra portable air conditioner they don’t need?
