My friend Christian is grading for his Nidan in kobudo this weekend (why does that sound perverted?).
Christian is affectionately called Bubu by his girlfriend and her friends.
What does it mean?
Who knows?
Either way, Bubu the Warrior sounds kinda funny, don’t you think?

Lost…In Translation?
I regularly watch House M.D.. In my opinion, it’s one of the best shows on television. Indeed, it is my favourite non-animated television show of all time.
Lost is also something that I watch, but only because I want to see how it ends. I don’t enjoy it as much as House M.D., not by a long shot. I do, however, enjoy the days of speculation before and after each episode…
- Will Locke say the word Boon any less than twenty times every episode?
- Will Jack and Kate kiss?
- Will Walt us his mind powers to send beams of superheated plasma into Shannon’s pouty face so that she stops whining?
- Does JJ Abrams actually have a plan?
I’m curious what you all think of this series?
Do you think that the season is planned out carefully in advance? Or do you think that it’s a day-by-day thing?

Barking Space 
I think its the best show ever. And… brilliantly written. and…acted. And I think hes flying by the seat of his pants:) but with some what of an idea. the cast has no clue whats going on from taping to taping. they’re in the dark. i like the dark. a girl i know lives in hawaii and met the cast. how jealous am I.
and i think locke has a crush on boones deadness.
Heya Jorge Hmmmm…bubu….unexplainable indeed. I don’t get it… I’ve watched a couple of episodes of House. Love his dry wit. But I must say I do enjoy Lost a lot more. -I heard some people speculating that they’ll bring Boon back somehow. -Never! But Sawyer and Kate must kiss more…LOL. -Yes, somebody or something should definately off Shannon…SOON. Side note…how do her clothes manage to stay so clean? -???
Crush on Boone’s deadness? That would take the show in a very Charles Bukowski direction. Vixy, you are too funny. I watched House for the first time last week and really liked it. I can see why you raved about it before. The characters and the writing are really great for a TV show. LOST is inexplicable. I thought it was supposed to represent Purgatory at one time, but now I’m not so sure… Anyway Jorge pronounced George….. have a wicked weekend. Cheers as always. ~ian
I love that dude on House, he’s such a bad ass! The only thing that bugs me is that hospital offices are not THAT nice, trust me 😉
I think that they have no idea what they’re doing with the numbers, but I think they have the rest of it pretty much planned out. I love LOST!! It, House, and Grey’s Anatomy are the three that I watch every week.

Love both shows. Lost more than House. I’ve been following Lost since last year. I love that this show was thought of in a week. Someone had a brain fart…and now look!! RICH. What do I like about it? The continuity. The flash backs. The fact that you MUST pay attention otherwise you’ll miss something pertinent. I love the way the shows just ends. It just stops, and there you are…mouth agape….wondering what will happen next. Then, if you’re me…you go to http://www.thefuselage.com and check the message boards. You do this to see if there was something that you missed that someone else saw. You read the theories. It’s great. I love Wednesday nights. I like House. It’s not [always] medically sound, but the storylines are great. I love the sarcasm, the dry bits of humour. That’s all. 🙂
