New Photos? Believe It!

Updated!

After far too long, I have updated my photography blog.

Mind you, there are only two new photos.

Updating takes time because I have to go back and make sure I note the technical specs, as well as the story behind the photo. I have so many in my portfolio at home that it becomes hard to choose.

So why not let me know what sort of things you’d like to see, and I’ll seeif I can accomodate you? Feel free to leave it in the comments section, or e-mail me.

I bought Naruto: Clash of Ninja for my Gamecube.

It’s actually a lot of fun and the characters have a lot of personality. So much so that I checked out a couple of episodes of the Anime.

Now I’m hooked.

I recommend it to anyone who is a sucker for a great story. Most people don’t like watching animated shows because they are considered to be for kids. However, quite a lot of work that comes out of Japan is meant for a more mature audience, due to the subject matter and complicated plots.

  1. Well I certainly support anything Ninja related so I will not judge you.

Since you have so much spare time on your hands (joke) you can use your fancy camera skills to do something cool I can use as a blog header.

  2. Did you not look at my photo blog?

    FOR SHAME.

  3. You have joined a select group of people that believes Naruto OWNS!!!
This includes my 13 yr. old son that gave me a 1/2 hour diatribe on the show after seeing it mentioned on your blog.

Anything that can keep his interest for more than 5 minutes has to be good!

  4. Pfft, cartoons allow for more bloodshed. Watch an episode of Bleach if you don’t believe me. Some people manage to loose thier bodymass in blood after having a chunk of thier shoulder removed.

However, I’m more partial to the giant robots blowin stuff up. Mainly the Gundam series.

  5. I think you should put pictures of hot women and their shoes on your photography site… should you happen to have anything like that. =)

  6. Anime? I shall not judge, but… Butts.

    I’m sorry: I have nothing.

  7. Oh good. Another video game for Mrs. J to kick your ass at. She’s my hero.

  8. I’m not sure which are the new ones … you have to so many wondrful ones . I like the one looking through the top part of the fishing line and well I just like all of your stuff … I kept forgetting to ask if that is you and Mrs.J wedding picture … It’s the one with both faiths celebrating ….

kids and there games … lol

  9. I think I may be the only person on the face of the earth who doesn’t enjoy anime. But I love alot of people who DO enjoy it – so consider me there by proxy. Or sixth degree. Or something.
    ;)t

  10. I really liked Gazing (Sepia)but that reflects my preference for photographs of people, rather than things.

  11. Happy Thanksgiving.

  12. so you probably don’t watch sailor moon. girly and geeky, i know. but i LOVE it. and i hate how when it came to the states they changed the lesbians in the show to a heterosexual couple and changed other key plot elements. anyway, just wanted to share my love for girly anime. =)

  13. omg…I love Naruto. Well, I haven’t watched very much of it, I’m on episode 110 (must download more!). I have to blame James for the introduction. Sakura is by far my favourite character, mostly due to her super stylish hair. Good luck with the game 😉

  14. Dude, I’m a shitty friend because I keep forgeting about your photography blog. But I’m a shitty honest friend, so at least there’s that.

  15. Jorge,

Naruto’s great. I’ve been loving Sunabozu lately, there’s something about the fact that it’s a child’s show, yet the messages speak to so many levels. Applicability to all is the real attractor I would surmise…

And very true about Ottawa and the bounty of colours the inhabitants get to face – I guess out of all that choice, I have found that this year it’s the background colour that speaks the most to me. The interplay and the layering of the shades and textures of the greys (concrete, ashphalt, canal, water, sky etc) has slid into my perceptions, and I find myself looking at the bright colours (such as the amazing leaves, dappling my horizon as I look across to the Gatineau Hills) as they fit inside the grey boundaries.

Anyway, I don’t think that camping in this weather is crazy, but I can surely sympathize with the troubles in getting it all set up!

    Take care!
    Patrick

  16. Yeah, Naruto is an amazing show. Though aimed for young boys, people of all ages (and genders) enjoy it…me included. My younger brother got me hooked. One thing though – try to watch (on YouTube, they have them) the Japanese versions with English subtitles. There is better voice acting, and they also don’t edit out blood, swearing, or other stuff that DOES add to the show. Dattebayo!

  17. Three words…….. I,believe it!!!!!
