In a time where the news topics of the day include Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, City election results and other things of interest, I figure I would take a breather.
I mean, really.
It’s only for a few weeks.
Packing and moving are hard work and time is a luxury that I can’t really afford to waste right now.
So come back in a bit, and I will have new material*. Or, as new as I can be, anyway.
* – In the mean time, you could always check out some of the archives. I still haven’t moved everything over from Spaces, so I might also be doing that in the interim as a form of procrastination.

I don’t envy you the packing part, but the moving experience has a lot to recommend it. Enjoy what you can.
Dayum. You did decide it was best.
Well… we’re here for you. Perhaps a challenge can be made to commentors? C’mon folks – let’s keep Jorge and the Mrs. entertained à la commenting on humours.
I will start with… hmmm….
The Californian couple who are facing federal charges after they refused to stop “overt sexual activity” during a flight to Raleigh.
A question to you all – is entering the Mile High club really worth a criminal record? Me thinkest not.
Enjoy your time… as much as you can. Forget about the ‘packing’ bit. You’re moving into your first purchased home! Suiteness!
Hey, hope all is going well with the move. I wish Auntie Shellie could be there to help get things packed.
hope all goes well. Enjoy this time to go over old things forgotten and look forward to all the new memories you both will be creating … 🙂
caitrine
Enjoy the packing, Jorge!
I will never forgive you for leaving – but I’ll be waiting impatiently for your return!
Are you back yet?
Are you?
I just tried to post a third message and WordPress actually told me this:
“You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.”
Booooo Urns! The Jorge I thought I knew could pack up a house, drive a moving truck, birth a baby, edit footage from the last camping trip all while practicing his kata’s …
“Enjoy” your time off. 🙂
I hi-1-us the sandbox!
Are you back Yet? Are you? Huh? are you?
BTW Jorge .. welcome to the hood.
You are gonna be “valley guys” now.
Is your wife ready to be a “valley girl”?
Come on George… entertain us. I’m not capable of entertaining myself.
And Kelly most definetly!!!
How cool would that be…. Excuse me sir you seem to have a criminal record for bonking on an airplane. Can I shake your hand.
Sure Officer.
Anyways.. enjoy your move big guy but do hurry back.
Lorna – I actually am very much looking to unpacking. Putting things in a new place, where I like. It will be great!
Kelly – Your challenge is going largely unanswered (in terms of people per day). I guess people are just too scared to entertain us. 😉 Thank goodness we gots you, babe! WOO MILE HIGH!
Shellie – Fly on up, and we’ll hook you up with ex-Rush members. 😉
Caitrine – very much looking forward to it.
Courtney – I never left. I just stopped posting for a while. So there’s no need to ask for your forgiveness.
Dave – No.
Dave – No.
Dave – Yes.
Mike – The Mike I thought I knew would be sending a band of Pariachis to help me out. What happened to that Mike? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT MIKE?
Jules – I will “Enjoy”. Painting and cleaning are cathartic.
Elbie- I hi-2-us the sandbox!
Callis – Are you and Dave hanging out in the same room?
RichardK – Thanks for the welcome. I don’t think calling my wife a “Valley Girl” is advisable. You may be met with a….boot to the head!
John – You’re apparently more than capable of entertaining a whole bar at once… And how long have you known me? Over a year? And you still haven’t spelled my name right, even though it’s pasted all over my blog? For shame. Boot to the head for you, too! 🙂
Man I can’t believe I did that. I’ll take that boot to the head, It won’t be the first. And I’ve known you for over two years now JORGE!
Have you seen my blog… It sucks… and no one is entertained.
Hurry back you big lug!
The Move! Not. Fun.
But when it’s all over…such peace and serenity in your new home! We’re not moving ’till January…the waiting is killing me.
Good luck with it…don’t drop any lamps on your foot.
