Trippin’
As you may or may not know, a group of us go on a camping trip every year. In fact, at this moment, both entries about the 2005 camping trip are in the Top Ten post. You can read Part I and Part II to familiarize yourself with this annual ritual.
For the last few years, I have created a DVD of the camping trip, complete with photo slideshows, background material and small videos.
This year, I have prepared a trailer for this year’s trip with the help of a very cool guy. Take a look…

How cool was that? How cool was that? That was SO cool that I just this moment made a vow to a) go to Algonquin Park with Dave next time he goes in spite of my not having been camping for 30 years, b) get familiar with my HP Muvee software, c) change my name to Phung.

cool, I like what you do . I also like the video. Camping is such great fun! I have been camping for about 30yrs when totaled. Even Climbed a mountain and crossed a raging river hanging on to a guide wire and my three children in tow for the river crossing sides of rocks with foot holds … and then the two hour climb back up … we have traveled to all national parks camping (not always with children as of late of course)from NFL to Alquin park (sp) the gaspe is breath taking and lots of mountains to climb , but my fav. was Gross Morn park in NFL… When you climb Gross morn mountain(806meters) it is without a trail and on loss rock called a scree and there is no backing down when started as you could cause a rock slide. It is subartic weather on top and going down is one tiny lane and G-d help you if you run into a moose or caribou on that path 🙂 look out tuckamores here I come ….

Jorge, I don’t have words to express my admiration for your trailer. Great job! I agree with Dave that the bar might be a bit high, but I’m really looking forward to chillaxin’ on the camping trip – it will give me a chance to work all the Japan out of my system and get back to some good ol’ Canadian nature.
