2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 4,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 8 years to get that many views.

Click here to see the complete report.

Little J asks me about doing “the serious photo” in early October. That’s commitment!

All kidding aside, our humble team of 8 raised over $6K to support Movember Canada – a feat which could not have been achieved without your donations. I wish that I could write each and every one of you your own personalized “thank you” note, but I can’t. So I’d like to thank you here for all of your kindness in donating to what I believe is a worthy cause.

I’m hoping that next year we can raise even more!

Not-So-Secret Stache

So, I am currently in the midst of Movember. It is a great cause and I encourage you to back me or my team! If not us – then back someone! Prostate cancer is definitely no joke.

Please check out my Mo Space page here and donate something, if you can! I am trying to keep it updated every few days and I am going for an epic stache!

The Skinny

It has been a while since I wrote a new entry for my current writing feature. Today’s subject is someone who thought she was not going to be able to help out as much this year – and then suddenly exploded into writing mania.
