Gone Trippin’

Gone Trippin’

Well, not quite yet.

Remember this?

Tomorrow we will be heading out to the awesome Algonquin Park for our annual interior trip. It’s going to rock something fierce.

This year, I will be taking up some 100 ISO slide film*. I’m hoping to capture some interesting images. If any of you have some suggestions for subject matter**, please let me know.

So far, I am going to try and shoot…

  • A sunrise
  • A perfect leaf
  • Ripples in the water
  • Reflections

These will most likely show up on the Figtography Blog at some point after the trip.

You can also expect some interesting stories when we get back. Dave and I usually cover all of the good stories from the weekend.

Hope everyone has a great weekend***

* – This film makes for great enlargements.
** – Mind out of the gutter, people.
*** – For those of you in Ontario, have a great long weekend!

Zanta Update

Just a short post today.

A certain someone wanted me to let you all know that he has an official site here.

Still Going…Check!

Still Going…

I’ve finally moved over the rest of the Toronto Guide entries, as well as the Fig-tionary.

I don’t know how many more entries I have to move over, seeing as MSN Spaces doesn’t tell you how many posts you have (unless I am missing something).

Seeing as the Toronto Guide is up and running, I was wondering if anyone had any requests? If you don’t know what I mean, go to the Toronto Guide and edumacate yourself.

Then, when you are done, leave a comment here or e-mail me any particular areas of interest that you would like me to write about.

Check This Out!

So, a friend of mine asked me if I could tell you all about his new Space.

If you don’t know who I’m talking about, then you should read this little article I wrote on Zanta.

Word Dave

Word Verification

So Julie wrote something about her experiences with word verification, as did Adrian.

I remembered this afternoon that I actually have been saving one of the funniest word verifications I have had to fill out…

form was so funny…

While this is funny, it’s also sad because it shows me typing HTML codes…

Long Overdue Dave Convo

This MSN Messenger conversation has been sitting in the bank for a while.

It’s basically part of a late night dialogue between Dave and myself. There was some beer involved…

Needless to say, you may not understand half of that. If you do, though, perhaps you can explain to others in the comments. We’re all about sharing here on Barking Space.

Algonquin Trippers

Trippin’

As you may or may not know, a group of us go on a camping trip every year. In fact, at this moment, both entries about the 2005 camping trip are in the Top Ten post. You can read Part I and Part II to familiarize yourself with this annual ritual.

For the last few years, I have created a DVD of the camping trip, complete with photo slideshows, background material and small videos.

This year, I have prepared a trailer for this year’s trip with the help of a very cool guy. Take a look…

How cool is that?
