  1. Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose

The more things change .. the more they stay the same.

Look throughout history. Man’s inhumanity towards man has always been there. It is all around us all the time. Millions of people die all around the world for various inhumanities. The craziness is not new. It is not a sign of the times. It is not even because we live in a world of haves vs have nots. War, conflict and craziness have always been there.

A sense of family does help ground us. But there are parents that have and do commit atrocities to their own kin as well.

All we can do is our own personal best. Help our friends and family. Form as much sanity around our own personal worlds as possible and hope some of it rubs off on the rest of the world.

  2. 😦

  3. I agree with The Shellie.

  4. Life will always come back and bite one on the ass . It’s life, keep the sweetiness as long as you can and the out side world at bay for awhile.
You once gave me good advice to stay away from a certain situation(sp) I didn’t listen. Boy did that blow up in my face ! So keep smiling Jorge and thinking we can all be friends with everyone we meet, it’s rare to have this gift and you have it my friend.

  5. I don’t udnerstand the reference, but figure it might have something to do with the VT massacre—it’s horrific, and we are all diminished by the act, but you are right about how having something wonderful in your life enhances both the highs and the lows. I still, Pollyannaishly, intend to look for the silver lining, and to trust people until they have truly, truly proven their potential for evil….it doesn’t happen very often.

  6. I can tell you what wrong with my family, and maybe yours, but beyond that I can’t help you, brother.

  7. i watched with glee, while your kings and queens fought for ten decades, for the gods they made…

  8. No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not forsee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the setting sun
My love will laugh with me before the morning comes
