My Movember 2023 campaign reached the end of its journey – and I am stunned at everyone’s generosity and support! We raised $13,241 with the help of around 240 donors (at the time that this post was published). That pushes the total amount of money that I have raised over the last 15 years to $75,362!
We have officially reached the halfway point of November, and also the halfway point of the Movember 2023 campaign. It has been an amazing month full of generosity and support. It makes me keep wanting to do this every year.
Movember reminds us that friends need to look out for each other.
Welcome to my 2023 Movember campaign! This year makes the 15th year that I have participated in this worthy cause – and I’m hoping that you all accompany me for the ride!
Movember 2022 has come to an end – and it has been one for the record books! Thanks to the generosity of so many people (203 to be exact), we have raised $10,000 – this is fantastic (and that’s just at the time of publishing this post)! In addition, I have officially moved over 100 km – which makes me regret not recording all of my walks and runs.
We are halfway through November, and I thought I would write something personal that sheds light on why I do what I do.
A few months ago, I lost my job. I had worked there for twenty-four years, and while I maintained a calm demeanor when it happened, it felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me.
