Movember 2020 – Tale of the Tape

We take Movember fundraising seriously.

And so, here we are at the end of another Movember. As of this moment, 130 separate donations were received totaling $6,194 – with the overall team number being $6,879! Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic, so many people reached out to help with their donations – I am truly grateful for all of you (and those of you who have also given me your encouragement).

Movember 2020

What a year it has been.


At the end of the summer, while driving down an expressway outside of Toronto and observing the passing information billboards (which showed only announcements regarding COVID-19, instead of the usual traffic information), I recall feeling as if I was in a science fiction film. The world had changed so quickly in such a short amount of time. It blew my mind.

Movember 2019 – Thank You!

Despite some challenges, it has been a great month for my Movember initiative. Overall, I raised a great amount of donations (more than last year – 158 separate donations totaling $6,802 – so far) and I hope that I have done at least as good of a job of informing people what Movember is all about. Ron Tite is many things: speaker, stand-up comedian, marketing wiz, creative, and -full disclosure- a good friend of mine. Ron has somehow managed to sucessfully deliver the equivalent of his excellent on-stage magic in book form. Think. Do. Say.: How to seize attention and build trust in a busy, busy world is an insightful and entertaining read – and if you’re looking to differentiate yourself from the crowd in a busy modern world, it is a must-read title.
